In a breathtaking display of skill and determination, Virat Kohli exhibited his unwavering intent by maintaining a staggering strike rate of 210 in Royal Challenger Bengaluru (RCB)'s arduous pursuit of an improbable 288-run target against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

SRH batters bullied RCB bowlers at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium earlier today by putting up 287 runs on board in the first innings.

In an unreal display of fearless and impeccable hitting, Travis Head smashed a hundred before Heinrich Klassen and Abdul Samad unleashed carnage to set up the highest-ever team total in IPL's history.

While the chase seemed an impossible task, RCB opener Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis walked out with some positive and aggressive intent. The duo made the most of powerplay conditions and posted 79 runs on board in the first six overs.

Facing a daunting target, RCB's backbone, Virat Kohli, led from the front with an aggressive approach, showcasing his intent to take on the SRH bowling attack right from the outset.

With every boundary and six, Kohli not only kept RCB's hopes alive but also demonstrated his ability to control the game's momentum with his aggressive batting style.

Before Mayank Markande struck with his golden arm to dismiss Virat Kohli, the batter had already raced to 42 runs inside a mere 20 balls, which propelled his strike rate to 210.

However, the powerplay euphoria ended prematurely as Virat Kohli was sent packing after a staggering start. Moreover, with the kind of total RCB are up against, a win seems way far from their reach.

A loss here would plummet RCB's playoff hopes badly as they already find themselves at the bottom of the table with just two points.
