'Fanboy Moment' For Bumrah As He Poses For A Picture With MS Dhoni After MI Vs CSK Match

Mumbai Indians fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah caught up with ex-national teammate and active CSK member MS Dhoni after their recent IPL 2024 faceoff at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

It is to be noted that Bumrah made his international debut for Team India under the leadership of MS Dhoni back in January 2016.

Jasprit Bumrah celebrated his reunion with ex-teammate MS Dhoni by clicking a picture together shortly after the conclusion of Mumbai Indians’ 20-run defeat to the visiting CSK troops in match number 29 of the IPL 2024 season.

The two cricketers can be spotted posing in front of the camera together inside the player’s balcony.

Jasprit Bumrah burst onto the international circuit back during India’s white-ball tour of Australia in January 2016. With MS Dhoni at the helm of Team India at the time, the series also featured the international debut of Hardik Pandya.

As far as their latest cricketing venture is concerned, the visiting CSK troops emerged victorious by 20 runs. Earlier in the game, the ‘Yellow Brigade’ amassed 206-4 from their 20 overs off the back of sparkling 60s by captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and all-rounder Shivam Dube.

All-time great MS Dhoni also bashed three sixes in his four-ball knock in the final over of the CSK innings.

In response, Mumbai Indians tallied 186-6, with former captain Rohit Sharma unfurling the innings of the match with his 63-ball 105*.

MS Dhoni along with the rest of his CSK teammates will now face the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in match number 34 of the IPL 2024 season on April 19. Jasprit Bumrah, on the other hand, is slated to reprise his role for the Mumbai Indians on April 18 with a match against Punjab Kings.
