Hardik Pandya To Drop Mohammad Nabi? MI's Probable Playing XI vs PBKS

Five-time champions Mumbai Indians will lock horns with Punjab Kings in the 33rd group-stage match of the ongoing Indian Premier League season.

Led by Hardik Pandya, Mumbai Indians have blown hot and cold in the tournament, managing only two wins in six group-stage outings.

They had a disastrous start to the season, as Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals handed them crushing defeats.

Although they bounced back by thumping Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Delhi Capitals, defending champions Chennai Super Kings shattered their confidence by swatting them aside by 20 runs.

Although MI's openers, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan, have performed admirably, the inconsistency of Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya is a major concern for the Blue and Gold Brigade.

Tilak Varma has shown maturity as a middle-order batter, while Tim David and Romario Shepherd would like better returns in this all-important face-off.

Meanwhile, veteran Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi hasn't contributed significantly with bat and ball. While he hasn't picked a single wicket, his sloth-paced seven-ball four cost MI the game in the high-scoring face-off against CSK.

Moving on to this game, MI might drop Nabi and replace him with Lankan spearhead Nuwan Thushara to fine-tune their bowling department. However, the rest of their lineup is expected to remain the same.
