3:05 AM IST: What a fabulous game of cricket!! It swung like a pendulum but the visitors get over the finishing line!! That's from us, I am Ovasie Shariff signing off on behalf of my commentator Saipavan Janaki and scorer/analyst Raju Kariya!! Hope you enjoyed the coverage, do join all the other cricketing action from around the globe. Goodbye and Good night!!
2:50 AM IST | Ovaise: Hampshire has won by 14 runs!! What a collapse, Somerset lost 6 wickets for just 26 runs in the end!! They were on cruise control when Banton and Rossouw were in the middle, it was almost looking like it was done and dusted but Hampshire has scraped their way back into the game and held their nerves in the end and got over the line!! Let's have a recap, Hampshire won the toss and opted to bowl first. They lost an early wicket, but James Vince had come out to bat with a mission and man did he play well or what? He scored 129 of just 62 and powered Hamspire to a mammoth total of 208, ably helped by the under-19 England captain Tom Prest who got 62 of 46 balls himself!! Siddle bowled well in the game and pegged them back a bit, at one point it was looking like they would get over the 220 run mark!! The pitch was a belter and Somerset fancied their chances of chasing this one down!! They got off to a magnificent start, Will Smeed and Tom Banton walked out to open the batting and smashed the bowlers all around the park in the powerplay!! Smeed was dismissed in the 9th over by James Fuller. The man from South Africa walked into the middle, joined Tom Banton together they pulverised everything, in no time they were right on top of the game, going way ahead of the required run rate!! They were on cruise control but once Tom Banton got out in the 13th over, it was a downslide almost!! Rossouw was single-handedly taken the match away but had no support at the non-striker's end. They ended up losing 6 wickets for 26 run, it was a massive collapse towards the end and Somerset fell short of 14 runs!! Massive collapse and Chris Wood bowled a magnificent penultimate over and sealed it for the visitor! All the bowlers chipped in with wickets, Nathan Ellis bowled the last over when 18 runs were required, The Australian bowled a splendid over and kept it down to just 4 runs. The visitor are delighted with the wicket and climb up the point table.

19.1 N Ellis to L Gregory
1+W Low full toss, attempted yorker and Gregory flicks it towards the long-on region and runs back for a couple. Excellent fielding in the deep as he picks and gets rid of the ball early, a rocket throw and RUN OUT!!! Unfortunate!!
