It was a pleasure to cover this one-sided series and Australia take the series by a scoreline of 4-0. This is me, Arjun Bhalla signing off on the behalf of Anurag Dasgupta, Akshay Bhide and Raju Khariya. See you all around!
Pat Cummins comes on the stage and he shares the centre stage with his teammates.
Travis Head | Man of the Match and Man of the Series: "Really happy to have an impact and informs that my century in this Test match is a bit special because the conditions were just a bit more challenging. I worked a lot on his game in the past couple of years and there were always batters ahead of me so I had to put on a good show. All the players in the team are performing really well and there's competition for every single place on the side. These were challenging times and I thank the English team for coming out here to play."
Pat Cummins | Australia skipper: "It's a great feeling, winning the series 4-0. We are really pumped. I am really happy as a captain, not sure about Lyon (On not using him in the Test match). We had some 15 player used in the series, so some tough calls made. Certainly we feel like we are onto something special. There are guys like Cam Green who has been outstanding with the bat and ball. Scott Boland has been outstanding throughout the series. I am super-excited for the overseas tours coming up. We haven't made much Test cricket during the pandemic, so we have to adapt well. Special thanks to ECB and CA to schedule the series, during these tough times."
Joe Root | England Skipper: "It has been a frustrating time for us. We have to keep learning as a group and not go away from here and learn from our mistakes. Try not to repeat the mistakes and take it as a learning experience. The batters have disappointed and we haven't given our bowlers much to work with. Australia have outplayed us in every department. We really don't know where we will be in four years but credit to Mark Wood for bowling his heart out. Massive thank you to the fans who have been supporting us throughout the series. Also, credit to Pat and his teams for winning the series."
Time for the presentation.
Arjun: Another clinical session of play from the Australians or another devastating phase of play from the tourists. One can argue years and years about it... but these are two sides of a coin. England, who started this session at 68-1, again surrendered against a daunting bowling attack under twilight. Under the moving pink ball, their technique again got exposed as they lost nine wickets in a span of… 23.4 overs (who cares)! In the last session, England were looking to go for the target, which was truly achievable, but they yet again faced a great English collapse (for the 10th time this Ashes, zillionth time this season). It was truly a horror show for the English fans as their boys kneeled down even without battling their battle. Despite the openers giving them the first fifty-run stand in this series, the rest of the batters surrendered. In the last session of this Hobart Test, Malan was the first man to fall. His dismissal was an unfortunate one as he chopped onto the stumps, but his feet movement before his dismissal was surely questionable. Crawley was the next to follow as the following gave up when Cam Green started a fine burst. All hopes were on Root and Stokes, but only to get shattered. The next one in, Pope showed the bowler what he wanted to see. The stumps. Cummins saw his fuel and hit the timber. Billings read the slower one incorrectly. And the rest of the men were like an abrasion of a long English batting tail, which begins from the “numero uno” batter. Yes, in a low-scoring game, 271 runs is a mountain to climb but the first base camp was reached behind losing a sweet. But we all should remember that England never had the oxygen cylinders to reach the final base camp. Having said that, that’s the beauty of Test cricket and the better team won the game and the series.

38.5 P Cummins to Robinson
W Cleaned him up!! Disaster performance from England. Horror show by their batters and Australia take the series 4-0. Let'ss be really honest, Australia have been too good for England. At one stage they were 68 for no loss, and from there on the great collapse took place. This was full, this was straight and Robinson had no clue about it. He moves away a bit too far from the line of the ball and fails to get a bat to it. That was too quick to handle and it goes on to shatter the stumps..
38.4 P Cummins to S Broad
1 Short and wide, width offered. Broad throws the kitchen sink at it and flays it over gully for a single..

38.3 P Cummins to M Wood
W Dragged on!! This is comical stuff to say the least. England are finding funny ways to throw their wickets away. Wood shuffles across and Cummins follows him. He bangs it short and cramps the batter for room. Wood goes through with his attempted pull and in the process he bottom-edges it onto the stumps...
38.2 P Cummins to M Wood
4 Cummins pitches it full once again and Wood makes him pay for it. He clears the front leg from the picture and smashes it over mid off for yet another boundary..
38.1 P Cummins to M Wood
4 Fuller, outside the off. Wood moves away from the line and slashes it through the covers for a boundary...
