The most experienced all-rounder in the current Zimbabwe women’s team, Precious Marange who decided to take up cricket 16 years ago when she was 22.
Precious started her domestic career in 2004 playing for a club at Takashinga and her big breakthrough came four years later in 2008 when she got her maiden callup in the national team for the 2008 ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier. Her career-defining moment arrived 8 years later in the Global Qualifiers when she smashed 71 runs off 56 deliveries in a T20 match and won 4 awards.
A regular starter for her country, Precious has represented ZImbabwe in multiple ICC events, and in February 2021, she was the oldest player in Zimbabwe’s team selected for the limited-overs series against Pakistan women’s team.
