Jacob's Bio

A young promising top-order batsman and a left-arm spinner, Jacob Graham Bethell is a professional English cricketer who is a product of the Warwickshire Academy. Rising through the ranks, the 17-year old earned his first professional contract at the start of the 2021 season.

Born in Barbados, Bethell moved to England at the age of 12 after representing Barbados in the U-15s. At the age of 18, the youngster has already featured for the county second XI and has been part of the England Lion’s squad.

The spin-bowling all-rounder, Bethell’s much-awaited first Xi debut came in a List A fixture against Glamorgan in July 2021 and a month later, he was rewarded with a first-class debut against Yorkshire in the prestigious County Championship. His exploits at the domestic level saw Bethell receiving the Captanicy duties for the U-19 England squad for their limited-overs series against West Indies.
