Shane Robert Watson, is an Australian international cricketer who currently plays for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League and Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League.
One of the highest-paid non-Indian cricketers in the world, Watson holds several records in the white ball format. He was awarded the Most Valuable Player/Man of the Series in crucial tournaments such as 2009 Champions Trophy, 2012 World Cup T20, 2008 and 2013 IPL.
In the inaugural season of IPL in 2008, he was a part of the Rajasthan Royals. In the 2016 edition of the league, Watto was bought by RCB. This year, the all-rounder is all set to join the ranks of Chennai Super Kings. His experience of having played over 100 matches in the league will help him to play a crucial role in his IPL team’s fortunes.
