Esther Mbofana is a right-arm medium-fast bowler for the Zimbabwe women’s team. She made her debut in the 2017 ICC Women’s World T20 Qualifying Series Africa Region against Namibia Women and picked up one wicket in her four overs quota. In a landslide victory on her debut, she was the X factor in her team conceding just 14 runs which restricted Namibia to a very low total. With Zimbabwe Cricket Board undergoing massive reconstruction during the mid-2010s, finally, women’s cricket is getting recognized and Mbofana is one of the most experienced players to lead the women’s team to some international glory.
