Born and brought up in Lahore, Asif Khan is a professional Pakistani cricketer who likes to ply his trade in franchise cricket. A right-handed middle-order batsman who can also bowl handy spells with his right-arm off-spin, Asif was also a part of the U-19 squad of Pakistan and arrived at the domestic circuit long back in 2007.
The 31-year all-rounder made his first-class debut for Lahore Shalimar against Khan Research Laboratories on November 7th, 2011 and went on to feature in 32 matches before being dropped in 2014. Having played his last List A match in 2015, Asif moved to the UAE for better opportunities.
After spending over three years in the UAE’s domestic circuit, he was drafted in the Pune Devils squad for the fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League. He then joined the Gladiators prior to the fifth edition and would be hoping to make an impact in the premier tournament to earn a callup from the national side.
