Team India’s permanent wrist spinner in the limited overs formats, Yuzvendra Chahal has represented India in both ODIs and T20 Internationals. A spinner from Haryana, Chahal first attracted attention when he took 34 wickets in the national Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy in 2009, finishing the tournament as its leading wicket-taker.
The former Chess player was the second player in T20I history to have taken a 6 wicket haul. With his knack of picking wickets at regular intervals, Chahal made his debut for India that toured Zimbabwe in 2016 and was later given an opportunity against England in the T20Is, which he grabbed to the fullest.
He became a part of the Mumbai Indians squad in 2011. The following two seasons saw Chahal grow as a player - picking up 44 wickets and becoming one of RCB's vital cogs. In the 2018 edition, he went on to become the leading wicket-taker for the Bangalore franchise.
