A crafty right-arm off-break bowler, Jon-Russ Luke Jaggesar is arguably Trinidad and Tobago’s most productive bowler in the domestic circuit.
A late bloomer, Jaggesar made his List-A debut for Trinidad and Tobago in 2016 and was the star of the tournament, with 14 wickets under his belt.
In the same year, he made his first-class debut for T&T against Guyana in the Regional Four Day tournament.
After performing heavily for T&T, St Kitts decided to try out their luck and they roped him in their squad for the 2020 Caribbean Premier League. It was not the best of tournaments by any means for the off-spinner. A lot was expected of him, but Jaggesar failed to create any sort of impact with his variations.
A bowler with a truck-load of variations, Jaggesar has been a star for T&T in the West Indies domestic circuit. He honed his skills under the guidance of Kumar Rampart and will look to deliver a better performance in the upcoming CPL season.
