[Watch] Maheesh Theekshana's Killer Delivery Stuns Rahul Tewatia

Maheesh Theekshana was touted as CSK's trump card for slow and low wickets in Chepauk ahead of the 2023 season. However, the Lankan spinner had a tough time for the most part of the season and could not deliver to his standards. MS Dhoni though trusted him and continued to play him in the XI and it seems that the faith shown by Dhoni is finally paying off.

Theekshana took two wickets against Delhi Capitals in the CSK's last league game and now against GT in the Qualifier 1, the mystery spinner has bowled a defining spell. He took two wickets and gave away just 28 runs in his four overs. His two wickets were the big ones of Hardik Pandya and Rahul Tewatia.

He produced a special delivery to get rid of Rahul Tewatia as he bowled a perfect carrom ball to knock the pole of Tewatia out of the ground. The ball was tad short of good length and skidded off the surface as Tewatia got stuck in the crease. The ball zipped through between his bat and pad and hit the timber leaving Tewatia and GT camp completely stunned.

GT crumbled after that wicket and CSK are on the brink of a big win at Chepauk that will take them to the final of the IPL 2023.
