The World Champions, England, under Jos Buttler's leadership - have already lost the ongoing ODI series against South Africa in South Africa.

Since winning the T20 World Cup last year, the Three Lions have already lost the ODI series against Australia and South Africa in preparation for the upcoming ODI World Cup, scheduled to be hosted in India.

Key Englishmen such as Joe Root, Mark Wood, Jonny Bairstow, and Alex Hales aren't part of the squad, while England superman from the last World Cup - Ben Stokes - has retired from the 50-over format.

However, the English vice-captain Moeen Ali is confident of the team's composition, despite the team being in a bad state.

"There is no panic in the changing room. We know with World Cups coming up it is about getting the right team together," Moeen commented while talking to Daily Mail. "Rooty is a massive player at No 3, and he's not here, Jonny is out, Woody would be in as well. There's a lot of strength to come in," he added.

The World Champs had a disastrous campaign during the 2015 edition of the ICC event after getting knocked down by Bangladesh. However, after that, under Eoin Morgan, the team transformed into a force to beat in white-ball cricket.

Comparing this unit to that of 2015, Moeen said: "We aren't in a position like before in 2015 where we were terrible and building a team. It's experienced core of players know tournaments are all about handling the pressure."

The third and final ODI against the Proteas will be on Wednesday at the Diamond Oval, Kimberley. After the series, the caravan will shift to New Zealand for a two-match Test series starting from February 16.
