A total of two matches will take place on Tuesday, January 31st in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) as the tournament is moving towards the end of the Sylhet leg. Let’s take a quick preview of the two exciting contests ahead.

Match 31: Dhaka Dominators vs Fortune Barishal

Dhaka Dominators’ disappointing season continues as Nasir Hossain’s men lost against Rangpur Riders in their last outing, making it seven defeats in nine games. They are placed second last in the league standings with only two wins throughout their campaign. 

On the other hand, Fortune Barishal lost their first game of the tournament but managed to win each of their next five games, followed by another defeat and a win. As a result they are placed second in the points table with six wins and two defeats. They got the better of Dhaka Dominators in their previous meeting in the tournament and will be keen to make it two in a row.

Comilla Victorians had a horrible start to their tournament as they lost their first three games. However, they bounced back hard at the right time, winning each of their next five games. They are currently third in the points table with five wins out of eight games. They are coming on the back of a close win against Khulna Tigers and will be hoping to continue their winning streak to strengthen their chance to make it to the knockouts.

On the other hand, Khulna Tigers who lost against the Victorians last week, went on to lose another win against Sylhet Strikers, making it six defeats in eight games. They are currently placed fifth in the points table with only two wins throughout their campaign so far.
