Moeen Ali speaks on his admiration for Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni

England all-rounder Moeen Ali showered praise on Virat Kohli, saying that he really admires Virat Kohli and enjoys his company. Moeen also admitted that he finds MS Dhoni very inspiring.

Due to their widespread reputation as two of the best players of the modern generation, Kohli and Dhoni are not only admired greatly by cricket fans but also by some active cricketers around the globe. 

Moeen was part of the Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore team for three seasons from 2018 to 2020. Whereas he joined Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings in the 2021 auction and he's still part of the yellow brigade.

Speaking with Zee Network, Moeen expressed he really admires Virat Kohli. The southpaw said that he hasn’t met anyone else like him in terms of his personality. He further said that Dhoni is inspiring as a player.

"I really admire Virat Kohli. He is definitely the one, he is somebody else as a player. He is the one you want to play with, spend time with him. He is very unique, I've not met anybody else like him in terms of his personality. Cricket-wise there are so many great players, but as a person, I really love Virat's company. MS Dhoni is very inspiring,"  said Moeen Ali as quoted by CricketNext.

Moeen Ali will lead Sharjah Warriors against the MI Emirates to kick off their ILT20 2023 campaign at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on January 14.
