Pakistan captain Babar Azam rued missed chances as England showed grit, determination and great character to clinch the Test series at Multan, with a game still to go.

Pakistan needed 355 to level the 3-match series, but they crumbled under pressure and eventually lost the game by 26 runs.

After the match, skipper Babar reflected on the game and also talked about the positives that can be taken from this harsh defeat.

Here's what Babar said

"We were not upto the mark in the first innings. We had a couple of soft dismissals. We had a fightback with the ball in the second innings, but unfortunately we couldn't finish the game. We had a simple plan to carry on the momentum, we had good partnerships between Imam and Saud and then Saud and Nawaz.

Abrar Ahmed had a dream start. He used the conditions really well in the first innings and after that he bowled well. Good for him and the team. Looking forward to the Karachi game and we will try and do our best."

After a disappointing match, Pakistan will look to avoid a series whitewash when the third Test match begins in Karachi on December 17.
