After a thrilling victory in the final of the Women's Big Bash League where Adelaide Strikers Women got better of Sydney Sixers Women, winning skipper Tahlia McGrath reveal her excitedness.

While mentioning about the victory, she spoke about the fight they had to endure to lift this title. The 27-year-old was all praise for her side, which she thought was a hard-fought win.

The all-rounder was in a joyous mood with animated feelings, where she mentioned that her mission to succeed is accomplished.

"I am just chuffed winning this. Fighting through this and having a home semi-final and then winning that and getting through and beating a good Sixers side was great.

"I am just chuffed and happy to be on the winning side. Last year was tough, we thought we had it, and then to lose to the Scorchers like that was disheartening, to say the least. I mean, this year, we had a mission to win the tournament, and although it didn't start off well, we managed to get the right results. I have loads of people to thank, and my head is reeling."

Defending 147 for victory, Sydney were halted on 137 in their 20 overs, giving Strikers a victory by 10 runs.
