Adil Rashid confirms his participation for the IPL 2023

England's Adil Rashid who has performed brilliantly in the T20 World Cup 2022, he played a huge role in England's World Cup winning campaign. His recent performances can certainly make him a hot pick for the upcoming Indian Premier League. 

The IPL 2023 mini auction is all set to take place on the 23rd of December and Rashid has confirmed his participation. He previously had a short lived stint with the franchise Punjab Kings. 

Adil confirms IPL participation 

"Yes, I will be putting up my name in IPL auctions this time."

When asked about if Rashid is in talks with a franchise, he replied that he is not. The spinner also talked about England's final and what he had planned for the Pakistani batters. 

"Babar's googly, I don't know if it was the turning point of the match but I was definitely getting some turn. I don't know about Shadab Khan or Liam Livingstone. I was bowling a bit more slow and got the big leggies (leg breaks) going my way. Normally I bowl a bit quicker and bit shorter. That was the game plan for me."

"Shadab and Liam bowls it a bit quicker and everyone has got their own way. For me, the slower I bowl, the better it is."
