Pakistan's young pacer Haris Rauf has told his tale of the T20 World Cup 2022. Pakistan suffered a gut wrenching loss at the hands of England at the final, although, Pakistan bowlers were brilliant in the first innings, a match-saving knock by Ben Stokes turned the tables around.

Rauf reflected on his journey in the tournament and stated that he learnt a lot from it.

Rauf tells his tale

"We had both individual and team performances. I have learned a lot from this World Cup,"

"We bowled in different conditions and different situations. We had ups and downs, lost the first two matches but still we had a hope that we could reach to final and the team made a comeback. We gained a lot of confident from the semi-final but unfortunately we lost the final."

"We back and believe in each other. Babar bhai talks to everyone and gives confidence to every player. The biggest thing is to play as a team. No doubt the way fans supported us throughout the World Cup, thank you so much."

Moeen Ali also played a huge part in taking England over the line while chasing Pakistan's delivered 138 run target. All was looking well for Pakistan until the 16th over where Shaheen Shah Afridi awkwardly fell while taking a catch. Later he could not finish his spell in the death over and English batters took great advantage of the situation.
