Pakistan will be up against the challenge of Bangladesh in Match 5 of Women's Asia Cup 2022 on Monday (October 6) at Sylhet.

Pakistan started the tournament on a strong note with a nine-wicket victory over Malaysia. They will look to find contributions from the players like Sidra Ameen and Tuba Hassan, who have done fairly well in their recent appearances.

Bangladesh were clinical as well to chase down the target of 83 against Thailand in their tournament opener. The likes of Nahida Akter and Shamima Sultana will be their key players in this game.

Key Players

Nahida Akter: She picked two wickets in the first league match. In the recently concluded World Cup T20 Qualifier, she had eight scalps in five games.

Sidra Ameen: The top-order batter was impressive with a match-winning knock of 31 in the first game. Earlier this year, Ameen slammed an ODI century against Sri Lanka.

Tuba Hassan: The young spinner has fast progressed to be the key wicket-taker for the Women in Green in the T20Is. She finished with figures of 2/13 against Malaysia.

Pitch Report

The surface at Sylhet has been rather slow and offering assistance to the spinners, who have been able to keep the batters in check. A total of 120 will the par score at this ground, and will demand fine performances from players of both departments.
