In T20 cricket, Hardik Pandya way ahead of Ben Stokes: Shane Watson

In the current cricketing world, Hardik Pandya and Ben Stokes are the two of the leading all rounders. Even though both the players have performed heavily with both bat and ball in hand, fans all around the world have always debated so as to who is ahead of whom. This debate had has various experts and fans weigh in with their opinion. 

The latest to discuss about the same is talismanic former Australian all rounder Shane Watson. The 41 year old, who is currently in India playing the Legends League Cricket spoke to NDTV about the meteoric rise of Pandya since his comeback from injury.

Watson opines on Hardik-Pandya debate

Watson opined that Hardik Pandya is at the peak of his cricketing prowess and that he absolutely loves watching the 28 year old play. The former Aussie skipper also states that he always admired fast bowling all rounders who steamed in bowled with intensity.

Talking about the comparison between Pandya and Stokes, Watson said:


"In regards to T20 cricket, Hardik is way above where Ben Stokes is right now. With the way Hardik is batting, his versatility while batting at the end, the way he is bowling. Right now, at this moment, Hardik is the stand-out."
