It’s all down to the wire as Pakistan will take on England in the seventh and final T20I of the series at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, on Sunday, October 2.

England levelled the seven-match series on Friday after winning the sixth T20 convincingly by 8 wickets to keep the series alive. They raced down to the victory target of 170 runs in just 14.3 overs, courtesy of Phil Salt's belligerent and unbeaten knock of 88 runs off just 41 balls.

Pakistan bowlers were given the taste of their own medicine as they were hammered to all corners of the ground in Lahore. In the batting department, Pakistan's over-reliance on their top two continues to haunt them as they have failed to pile up huge runs in this series.

Heading into the decider fixture of the series, while the hosts will look to overcome their batting and death bowling woes, Moeen Ali & Co. would expect their batters to replicate their most recent heroics in the must-win match on Sunday.

Key Players

Mohammad Rizwan: The Pakistan opener is the leading run-scorer in the tournament and has scored 315 runs in five matches at an average of 78.75 and strike rate of 140.63.

Babar Azam: The Pakistan captain took charge right from the start in the most recent fixture and clobbered unbeaten 87 off 59 to help the hosts post a challenging total. Overall, he has scored 281 runs while striking at 144.

Ben Duckett: The England southpaw is the third highest run-getter in the tournament. He has garnered 203 runs in six matches at an average of 50.75 and a strike rate of 159.85.

Philip Salt: After a string of disappointing outings in the series, the English opener finally fired with the willow in the most recent clash. He played a whirlwind knock of unbeaten 88 to help his side register an easy win.

Haris Rauf: The Pakistan pacer has bowled with responsibility in the series in the absence of their ace pacer Shaheen Afridi. Rauf has bagged 8 wickets in five matches at an economy of 8.25 and is currently the leading wicket-taker in the tournament.
