The red-ball cricket days are back in the UK with six County Clubs featuring in three exciting County Championship Division-Two matches, starting Monday, September 12. Here are the details of the matches that will be played in this week's County Championship 2022.

Sussex vs Worcestershire

Sussex will take on Worcestershire in the group fixture of the County Championship 2022 from Monday, 12th September. The match will be played at County Ground, Hove. Sussex have won one and lost five of their eleven matches, and are reeling at the seventh position in the 8-team Division Two table.

On the other hand, Worcestershire have won three and lost three matches from as many games. They are placed in the fifth position. In the last five matches between the two teams, Worcestershire has won twice and Sussex once. The other two matches have ended in draws. Without the services of some of their key players, Sussex will need to find new heroes to make a quick turnaround in the championship, while Worcestershire will be hoping to climb up the t points table.

Middlesex vs Glamorgan

Middlesex will square off against Glamorgan in match number 101 under Division 2 of the ongoing edition of the County Championship. The match will be played at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London on September 12.

Glamorgan has been playing some outstanding cricket this season and has won five games, losing two in the 11 games they have played so far. They are placed 2nd in the points table behind Nottinghamshire. Middlesex find themselves fourth in the table with 4 wins and 2 losses in the 11 matches they have played so far.

The hosts Middlesex have won two of the last five clashes against Glamorgan. Even though Glamorgan's current form is better than Middlesex, still the London-based will start as favourites as they will have the advantage of playing in their home conditions.

Leicestershire vs Durham

Leicestershire will host Durham in match number 105 of the County Championship Division Two 2022 from Monday, 12th September at the Grace Road in Leicester. The hosts are struggling to win games and it reflects on their position in the points table.

They are ranked eight in the County Championship Division Two points table with zero wins and seven losses from their 11 matches in the Championship. With the help of four hard-earned draws, the team has 75 points. Meanwhile, Durham are placed at the 6th spot in the points table with just one win and two losses from their 11 matches in Division 2.

Earlier this year when the two teams last met in April, they shared the spoils with a draw on the fourth day on a flat track up in the North East. Both teams will be looking to win this encounter in order to get some momentum for the remainder of the games this season.
