One of the top dogs in The Hundred tournament, Trent Rockets has been phenomenally successful in their stint this season. The men's team has made it in the finals, meanwhile the women's team made it into the eliminators.

The men's team has roared their way into the finals. They have dominated the tournament are currently on the top of the point's table. They have won 6 out of 8 fixtures. Captained by Lewis Gregory, the team consists of an out of the ordinary explosive batting lineup. 

Star batter Dawid Malan has topped the charts and is currently the highest run-scorer in the tournament. Amassing a whopping 358 runs from 8 innings. He has been a front-runner in the team's success. Taking the reins Malan has been a key component in TR's qualification to the finals. Malan has scored four half-centuries and 20 sixes.

In the bowling department, Samit Patel and Luke Wood have been spearheading the attack. Patel has a total of 10 wickets in the tournament and Wood has scalped 9. 

Wood displayed a brilliant performance against Birmingham Phoenix. Scalping 3 wickets for just 17 runs. Sam Cook has been a key player in the pace attack, with 7 wickets to his name. 

Knocking out a fan favourite - London Spirit in what was a close tussle at the eliminator, the Rockets are by far the most consistent in the tournament. 


Trent Rockets Women

The Trent Rockets women made it to the eliminators and were at the 3rd position in the point's table before their knockout. The team only won 3 matches and barely edged past to make it into the eliminators. They finished 7th in the tournament last year and now the 3rd. 

Consisting of the dangerous right-arm leg-break bowler Alana King, who made history by scalping the first hat-trick in the women's tournament and the second overall. Bryony Smith, a right-arm off-break bowler was one of the top 3 wicket takers in the tournament (9).

Elyse Villani was leading the batting attack alongside all-rounders Elyse Perry and Nat Sciver. 

Sciver is the third highest run-getter in the tournament with 228 runs in just 6 innings. 

TRW faced last years' runner ups Southern Brave in the tournament but couldn't make it past the eliminator stage. The team will finish 3rd in the tournament.
