Choosing to bat first, Invincibles lost their swashbuckling batter Rilee Rossouw (17) courtesy a stupendous catch from Paul Walter. Soon, they were rocked by the proficient line-lengths from Joshua Little, who sent Will Jacks and Jordan Cox back to the hut in his first spell.

It was the experienced duo of Sam Billings and Sam Curran, who stabilized the team with their 56-run stand. Billings was flawless to contribute 53 off 33, before being outfoxed by Little.

Invincibles posted a total of 143 on the board, with Little finishing with figures of 5/13 in his full quota of 20 balls.

In response to the chase, Originals suffered hiccups with the dismissals of their openers Phil Salt (19) and Laurie Evans (9).

Afterwards, Ashton Turner delivered an impressive knock (26 off 17), to be a strong support to Madsen. In the end, Walter (12* off 6) and Madsen (53* off 39) took the team home with one ball to spare.
