Australia’s legendary seamer Glenn McGrath seemed impressed with England’s aggressive approach in the purest format of the game. The 52-year-old candidly spoke about how the “Bazball’ technique has changed the face and attitude of England’s Test team.

Under the leadership of skipper Ben Stokes and head coach Brendon McCullum, England has put up a fine show in Tests. In the new regime, the team has won all its last four Test matches defeating the likes of India and New Zealand.

While many in the cricket fraternity have been impressed with the aggressive approach, there are some concerns as well. Speaking about the same, McGrath pointed out the flaw in the Bazball technique.

Good bowling can put England under pressure

"If the batters are looking to score and challenge the bowlers, obviously there are more chances of taking wickets. It’s about bowling good plans, being able to execute your plans and bowl to the field you have," McGrath said while speaking to cricket.com.

"A couple of times if the bowling side takes early wickets puts pressure on them and bowls them out while they’re still attacking, it’s going to be interesting to see how it goes. I like teams to back themselves. With the bat, but also with the ball. Bowlers need to work out how to bowl to more aggressive batsmen," McGrath concluded.
