Oval Invincibles' dynamic opening batter Will Jacks becomes the second centurion of the Hundred after tonking 108 not out against the Southern Brave in the 14th match of the second edition.

Days after Will Smeed's historic knock of 101 against the Brave, Jacks unleashed himself against the very same opposition utilising just 47 deliveries to record the landmark.

The 23-year-old has now scored the fastest ton in the 100-ball competition, bettering Smeed by just four deliveries.

Chasing 138, Oval lost the first wicket of Jason Roy in the very first over, but after that, it was the 'Will Jacks' show the powered hosts to a commendable win by seven wickets against the defending champions.

The right-hander smashed eight sixes, including a 92-metre gigantic one against George Garton that went out of the park in the 14th delivery of their innings.

The Surrey batter stroked runs at a strike rate of 225, which also had ten fours to go along with. After his magnificent century, Jacks is now the second-highest run-scorer in the ongoing tournament, with 190 runs from just three matches.

What Will Jacks said after his knock

"It was a pretty incredible experience to have everyone support me during my strike. I could sense that eagerness. If the ball was in my scoring arc, I basically chose certain locations and went for it. I could take my time because the target wasn't too difficult.

"There are so many talented players in England and so much competition, we must continue to put in the effort. We must continue to work hard because we all want to represent England."
