The Meg Lanning-led side has played an aggressive brand of cricket and became the team to beat in the competition having won all three league stage matches.

The reigning World Champions boast of a strong batting line-up coupled with a potent bowling attack and will be straight favourites to become the first finalists of the tournament.

Speaking of New Zealand Women, the White Ferns were riding on an unbeaten streak before England Women blew them away in the final league stage fixture.

After winning two of their three league-round matches, they finished second in the Group B points ranking. Coming into the semi-finals, they will aim to bounce back into winning ways and book a finals berth.

Spotlight: Tahlia McGrath

The 26-year-old all-rounder Tahlia McGrath has been a top performer for Australia with both bats as well as the ball.

The Adelaide born currently leads the bowling chart for the Aussies with six wickets in three innings. Her bowling economy is below 6, which is considered decent in the quickest form of the game.

Safe to say, McGrath has been the backbone of Australia Women in the ongoing tournament and she will once again be the player to look out for in the semi-final.

Key Players

Suzie Bates is the leading run-scorer of the tournament with 131 runs from three innings. She is averaging 65 in the tournament and her top individual score is 91 not out, which came against South Africa Women in the opening fixture.

The Australian opener Beth Mooney has recently shellacked 70 runs off 49 balls and remained unbeaten against Pakistan Women. Overall, she has got 83 runs from three innings.
