Hosts Durham folded out for just 181, with Liam Trevaskis serving as the lone half-centurion of the innings. Surrey’s Matt Dunn, Conor McKerr, Yousef Majid and Nick Kimber shared eight wickets between them while Tom Lawes and Cameron Steel snared a wicket each.

Wiaan Mulder charted an unbeaten ton while Louis Kimber and Nathan Bowley sparked half-centuries, all at a breakneck pace to lift Leicestershire’s first-innings total to 359-8.

Hosts Middlesex responded well, with each of their top six batters netting handy runs. However, a lower-order collapse triggered by all-rounder Mulder made sure they fell short by 15 runs.

Somerset vs Nottinghamshire

Somerset failed to bat out 50 overs, as they were wrapped up for just 119 at their home ground in Taunton. Notably, middle-order batsman James Rew scored 48 of those runs with as many as seven players from their batting line-up falling in the single-digits.

Only four bowlers were utilised by Nottinghamshire throughout the innings, where right-arm speedsters Zak Chappell and Dane Paterson claimed three wickets each in their economical spells.

Nottinghamshire openers completed the task within 12 overs as opener Sol Budinger punched out an unbeaten 29-ball 62.
