Finishing season in the fifth and sixth position, respectively, Superchargers and Originals would want to make better use of the opportunity this time.
Superchargers, who won 3 out of 8 games, secured 7 points previously, which weren't enough for them to grab a qualification spot. With Ben Stokes again missing out this season, the Leeds-based team will look to make sure they fill out the spot early.
The Originals were left with a lot to think about last time when they only managed two wins from 8 matches. However, the addition of Andre Russell might give them the strength they require.
