'Will Make A Huge Difference' - Bishnoi On Shreyas Iyer's Return Ahead Of 4th T20I vs AUS

The ongoing five-T20I series between India and Australia stands at a crucial juncture with the Suryakumar Yadav-led side leading the series 2-1. While Australia have let go of several senior pros, India will have the services of in-form batter Shreyas Iyer, for the fourth and fifth encounter, who will also be Yadav's deputy.

Ahead of the fourth T20I in Raipur today, spinner Ravi Bishnoi stated that Iyer's inclusion will make a huge difference.  India won the first two T20Is at Visakhapatnam and Thiruvananthapuram, then Australia hit back clinching the third match at Guwahati and keeping the series alive. 

 As quoted by India Today, the leg-spinner also talked about playing in an India-Australia series, which is a big deal for several young players. 

Here's what Bishnoi said

"Shreyas Iyer’s arrival will make a huge difference. The kind of reputation that he carries in T20 format and the kind of form that he was during the ODI World Cup 2023, it will create a huge difference in our batting lineup.  As a senior player, his experience will come in handy for us. I am happy with my bowling and will try to perform in a similar style and make the team win the series.


India vs Australia is a great opportunity for the young players because it is not very often that senior players do not play a bilateral series. We are ahead 2-1, and we are looking to seal the series in Raipur. You know that kind of batter Maxwell is and what reputation he comes with. He is not there for the last two matches of the series and we will just try to bowl well against the Australia batters." 

Interestingly, the fourth T20I will be the first-ever T20I at Raipur, which will be held at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium.
