In a do-or-die match vs CSK at Chinnaswamy, Royal Challengers Bengaluru made a huge breakthrough as Lockie Ferguson shifted the momentum of the game back to his team by dismissing Ajinkya Rahane with the help of Faf du Plessis' outstanding catch. But what raised eyebrows was Virat Kohli's silence gesture towards his home-crowd.

As Ferguson released a slower delivery, a leg cutter outside the off-stump, Rahane aimed to tonk it downtown with a lofted hit, however, he failed to read the change in pace and ended up  skying it off the bottom of his bat sending it straight to the extra cover. Faf moved across the mid-off, while fixing his eyes at the swirling ball, and settled right underneath and made a brilliant catch under the lights. Although, he tumbled but the ball remained intact.

He provided RCB with a much-needed breakthrough and turned the tide in RCB's favour yet again. At the time of writing, CSK are at 95/3. In case you missed it, RCB need to restrict CSK under 201 runs in order to qualify to the playoffs.
