Mumbai Indians have got off to a worst possible start in the 38th match of IPL 2024 against Rajasthan Royals as they lost both their openers inside initial two overs. The first one to go was Rohit Sharma off the bowling of Trent Boult while Ishan Kishan was sent back by the comeback man Sandeep Sharma. 

Credit should also be given to Sanju Samson for taking a brilliant DRS to send Ishan packing and overall the home team will be pretty pleased with the start they have got. The wicket of Ishan Kishan came on the third delivery of the second over when Sandeep Sharma bowled a beautiful outswinger to Ishan. The wicketkeeper batter did not get his feet towards the ball and poked half-heartedly.

Initially, everyone thought that the ball has beaten the bat, but Sanju Samson was confident that Ishan has got the nick on it, and took the DRS. The replays rolled in, and it showed a clear edge and the decision was eventually overturned to leave MI reeling in a match they need to win.
