Suryakumar Yadav and Jitesh Sharma are both from Maharashtra and the bond between the two was clearly evident when the two met during the training session ahead of PBKS-MI clash at Mullanpur. 

In a video released by the official X handle of Punjab Kings, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma are seen initially hugging Arshdeep Singh and then SKY goes onto hug Jitesh Sharma. He greets Punjab wicketkeeper in typical Maharashtrian style, calling him 'Bhau' and follows it up with advicing Jitesh Sharma that he doesn't need to get emotional while batting.

SKY wanted to make Jitesh understand that it is not necessary to hit every ball out of the park, and he should choose his shots wisely to score runs on a consistent basis. Jitesh Sharma has not been able to notch up even a single big score this season and his highest score of 29 came in Punjab's last game against RR.

Jitesh was one of the front-runner for the wicketkeeper's spot in India's T20 World Cup squad but his dwindling returns are not helping his cause, and he needs to get going, before it all gets too late for the big-hitting middle order batter.
