Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are set to take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their last group-stage fixture of the IPL 2024 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on May 19. 

Having secured their spot in the playoffs with seven wins and five losses, SRH will be looking to solidify their form heading into the knockout stages. 

Their most recent match was washed out due to rain, but their consistent performances have ensured they are the third team to qualify for the playoffs.

On the other hand, Punjab Kings (PBKS) have been eliminated from playoff contention and will be playing for pride in their final outing. Despite their elimination, PBKS will aim to finish the season on a high note with a victory over SRH.

In their last outing against Gujarat Titans, SRH's match was interrupted by rain and eventually called off. The team, however, remains in good form and appears well-balanced as they approach this crucial fixture.

SRH's strategy will hinge on the toss. If SRH bowls first, Travis Head is expected to come in as an Impact Player replacing left arm pacer T Natarajan. Conversely, if SRH bats first, T Natarajan will start, with Travis Head available as a batting reinforcement.
